About Family Fun Day

The purpose of the Healthy SF Family Fun Day is to celebrate the South Fulton Community by connecting families to local health care providers, youth services, and a variety of product vendors. Through a collaboration of community resources, we will ensure that families have all the tools and resources needed before transitioning into a new school year.

Returns July 30, 2022

Healthy South Fulton Family Fun Day officially returns on July 30, 2022 at Sandtown Park.  This year we are excited to announce our partnership with the The Sheldon Williams Foundation to add a special sports element to the event.  

We expect to give away over 700 book bags and host families throughout the City of South Fulton and Surrounding areas for what will be the most exciting back to school event in the city!  Get ready for bounce houses, outdoor basketball, game truck, food, dunk booth, horseback riding and much more….

Family Fun Day History

The first annual Family Fun Day was held in July 2018. Touch of Life Family Chiropractic partnered with CoSF Councilwomen Dr. Catherine Rowell and Carmalitha Gumbs to host an amazing kickoff with over 1,500 participants. The highlight of the event was 500+ bookbags given away to local children and an opportunity to connect families to over 30 local vendors. Kids had the opportunity to enjoy an amazing Kids Corner and parents connected with the vital support services needed!

Book Bag & School Supply Give Away

One of the main purposes of the Family Fun Day is to give back to the local youth in the community. Last year we were able to collect over 1,000 book bags that we distributed during the Family Fun Day and to local schools. This year we are committing to supporting local families.  We will be providing book bags directly to local schools and families this year due to our inability to have Family Fun Day.  As always, we welcome any sponsors who would like to contribute to the give away.
